TO “VOTE” OR “NOT TO VOTE” ???

Although, relatively speaking, our national mid-term/general elections—as well as those at various city, county, state levels—may be a bit into the future, some hold the view that “preparation” can never be a “too early” thing! Hence, the following planning aids for consideration.

EXCUSES FOR “NOT VOTING”: As special assist to those forever looking for time-tested support for “not voting,” here are a few of the “more popular” excuses: forgot to register/vote, bad weather, sick, disabled, inconvenient voting place, ID required, proof of U.S. citizenship required, conflicting appointments, have to work, on travel/vacation, disgusted with turned-off by politics, no good candidates, all political parties are the same, politics is all about money, corrupt politicians, and, politicians just care about getting elected, the one I want didn’t run.  But wait — if none of these do the trick — maybe this old (recently reinforced) standby will help: “all elections are rigged, so our votes don’t really count anyway!”

“REASONS FOR VOTING”: If doing one’s part to help protect and preserve humankind’s best and last hope for liberty and freedom doesn’t work for you, . . . then how about waking up one morning in January 2021 to the shameful reality that the people’s White House has indeed been infested with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris — puppets of the America-destroying socialist/communist radical-left!

“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do.” —Helen Keller (1880-1968) American author, political activist and lecturer, and first deafblind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.

“Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction—it is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.” —Ronald Reagan (1911-2004), 40th U.S. President.

“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” —Abraham Lincoln, 16th U.S. President.
