A “NOT-TO-BE-CELEBRATED” HISTORICAL U.S. MILESTONE!!!

As countless millions worldwide were at the time of this FB Posting no doubt engaged in an array of truly meaningful activities . . . I obviously chose to do otherwise by way of herein likely exercise in self-absorbed futility.

Nevertheless, and probably driven in no small measure by sizeable ego, I just had to publicly express my personal alignment with those who choose NOT to celebrate our country’s recent surpassing of another truly “historic milestone.” Yes, and with no apologies, I’m among those who fail to be at all elated by the fact that “We the People” and “our” elected representatives in “our” Federal Government have finally . . . for the first time ever . . . accumulated a U.S. National Debt surpassing $40 Trillion (i.e., over $116,000 per U.S. Citizen, or beyond $360,000 per U.S. Taxpayer)! With yearly Interest on said debt now exceeding another $1 Trillion!!!

Yes, for the first time since World War II, “our” U.S. National Debt now exceeds the entire size of our U.S. economy (i.e. Gross Domestic Product, or GDP). However, unlike wartime borrowing of the 1940s, today's debt wasn't built to defeat fascism or protect our republic, but rather is the result of decades of bipartisan fiscal negligence, runaway spending, and a stubborn refusal of “We the People” and our elected government representatives to make hard choices.

Of course there are countless others who through ignorance or otherwise consider such debt to not only be sustainable, but also in no way irresponsible or shameful. As evidenced by NO related marching in the streets protests; NO related looting of businesses, burning of cities, etc.; LITTLE to NO related primetime news coverage; and NO related abundance of objections throughout social medica; etc.; etc.; etc.

And as opposed to our otherwise long-standing and reality-founded concerns many if not most of us routinely have about one’s personal mortgage loans, auto loans, education loans, business loans; credit card debts; etc., and the potential negative consequences of irresponsible handling of such, etc., . . . we apparently have even found a seemingly foolproof and conscience-free way to avoid (or at least disregard) any such concerns and potential negative consequences associated with said National Debt! Yes, we so-called adults in the room (past and present) just simply keep passing said debt on to future generations of Americans!

Nevertheless, there are hopefully a growing many of us nationwide who for some reason tend to keep harboring a bit of concern about what (to us) seems to be an ever growing and grossly out of control National Debt. Concerns prompting an array of citizen responses, such as, but in no way limited to, my little 91-page YR 2018 self-published book titled, “Our” U.S. National Debt—101: A Shameful Liberty-Threatening Legacy Being Passed To America’s Young Children, Grandchildren, & The Not Yet Born.” A historical fact and opinion rooted babbling that I was absolutely certain would make the Earth shudder and bring a rapid resolve of the existential threat of "our" National Debt.

Of course, said writing turned out to be among my many failed undertakings . . . as it obviously also in no way hindered the about 8 years later “achievement” of our country’s now exceeding $40 Trillion Historic National Debt Milestone . . . on Tuesday, August 18, 2026! One many of us will long consider to fall unspeakably short of warranting anything approaching any rational celebration!

NEVER WRESTLE WITH OR TRY TO TEACH A PIG TO SING!

As evidenced by the continued existence and growth of Facebook, X (formally Twitter), Truth Social, etc., millions upon millions worldwide choose to spend notable amounts of their precious/limited gift-of-life journey using Social Media Platforms . . . “for an array of reasons.”

Including folks such as I who are prone to more than occasionally use such for spewing personal views and/or thought to be reality-rooted info regarding government, politics, etc. And when I ask myself “why” do I do so . . . a sizable ego and abundance of vanity seem to always get in the way of personally acknowledging and constructive focus on what is likely the “real” reason or reasons. As a result, I generally just settle on a sufficiently ego-stroking answer along the lines of . . . “I do so in search of, and to offer support of, views and opinions I tend to personally agree with and/or otherwise consider tolerable, etc."

Never the less, what I am pretty much sure of is . . . I do NOT do so in an effort to “change” the minds of those who are radically in opposition with my particular views about anything, especially regarding government, politics, etc. Of course herein I’m herein primarily making reference to the minds of the Communist-infested Radical-Left individuals and groups that are hell-bent to destroy our ever-so-precious individual liberty enabling constitutional republic. Yes, “changing” the minds of such folks is in “no way” on my personal “to do” or “doable” list . . . for an array of reasons likely best summed up by old sayings such as: “Never try to teach a pig to sing — it wastes your time and annoys the pig” . . . and also, “Never wrestle with a pig — you both get dirty and the pig likes it.”

So, instead, I am among the many who choose to do one’s best to maintain some constructive focus on the basic “Rules of Survival.” Yes, just like other life forms, survival of we so-called superior humans also depends upon our willingness and ability to: (1.) “recognize” threats; (2.) “have” or “obtain” effective defenses against threats; and (3.) “execute” timely and effective defenses and/or proactive responses against such threats. While trying also to not lose sight of the risks and consequences of failing to do so . . . as so aptly expressed by the following caution attributed to President Ronald Reagan: “To sit back hoping that someday, some way, someone will make things right is to go on feeding the crocodile, hoping he will eat you last — but eat you he will.”

‘‘Voting in the U.S.” — a Right, Privilege, or Responsibility?

While, in keeping with applicable eligibility requirements, voting in the U.S. is a constitutional right . . . in practice it also includes elements of privilege and responsibility. And while our U.S. elections involve different types (e.g., general; primary; special; etc.), with each serving a different purpose, all entail outcomes (consequences) that influence the functioning of our ever so precious individual liberty enabling constitutional republic, and hence our safety, security, and other wellbeing.

For example, the Kansas primary election held Tuesday, August 4, 2026, providing we Kansas voters an opportunity to voice our preferences regarding some sales tax measures; a highly debated Kansas proposed constitutional amendment concerning how Kansas Supreme Court Justices are determined; and what candidates will represent each political party in our country’s upcoming “midterm” general election on November 3, 2026; etc. A Kansas primary election of which, and pending later availability of finalized data, our local newspaper, the Parsons Sun, responsibly reported some very informative “Unofficial primary results announced in Labette and Neosho Counties.” Such as, but not limited to the following “Voter Breakdown”:

“In Labette County, there are 13,696 registered voters: 2,596 are registered as Democratic; 4,778 are nonpartisan; and 6,322 are Republican. In total, 27.39% of voters participated in Tuesday’s (August 4, 2026) primary: 38.91% Democratic; 5.11% nonpartisan; and 39.50% Republican. There were 3,751 ballots cast across the county.” In other words . . . about 9,945 (72.61%) of the 13,696 registered voters in Labette County chose NOT to vote, and as a result, let the election outcome be determined by the 3,751 (27.39%) who did! As did also all the other “potentially eligible to vote” Labette County residents who for some reason haven’t yet registered to vote.

“In Neosho County, there are 11,069 registered voters: 1,727 Democratic; 3,567 nonpartisan; and 5,775 Republican. In total, 28.06% of voters participated in Tuesday’s (August 4, 2026) primary: 37.41% were Democratic; 5.75% were nonpartisan; and 39.05% were Republican. There were 3,106 ballots cast across the county.” In other words . . . about 7,963 (71.94%) of the 11,069 registered voters in Neosho County chose NOT to vote, and as a result, let the election outcome be determined by the 3,106 (28.06%) who did! As did also all the other “potentially eligible to vote” Neosho County residents who for some reason haven’t yet registered to vote.

And while these particular voter participation rates are of course far less than encouraging, unfortunately such are not a far departure from that of many other counties in Kansas and other areas throughout our ever so challenged country. As in turn, how we Kansas voters and others nationwide have been doing in our nation’s “federal” elections also falls terribly short of being at all greatly uplifting. For example, the following turnout rates of eligible voters in Kansas and as compared to overall eligible voters nationwide in recent “federal election” years 2018 to 2024: 2018 (Kansas 51.1%--Overall U.S. 50.0); 2020 (Kansas 65.7%—Overall U.S. 66.6%); 2022 (Kansas 47.6%--Overall U.S. 46.2%); 2024 (Kansas 63.2%--Overall U.S. 63.9%).

Unfortunately, history attests that some among “We the People” will likely continue to ignore their voting rights, privileges, and responsibilities . . . as many millions of others will do their best to be responsibly informed voters in our country’s various local, state, and federal elections! Nevertheless, and regardless of degree of voter participation, all elections will continue to have “outcomes” (i.e., constructive or destructive “consequences”). Yes, “consequences” that ultimately determine and/or otherwise influence the crucial functioning of our ever so precious individual liberty enabling constitutional republic, and hence our safety, security, and other wellbeing.

And while many elections have rendered a considerable number of constructive outcomes, it would be irresponsible to not herein make due mention of an especially profound “destructive outcome” . . . “our” ever-growing and out-of-control U.S. National Debt! A truly tragic “consequence” of years upon years of voter-approved and/or otherwise voter tolerated reckless government spending. A U.S. National Debt that, as of this writing, now exceeds $39 Trillion (i.e., over $115,000 per U.S. Citizen, or beyond $359,000 per U.S. Taxpayer)! With yearly interest on said debt now exceeding $1 Trillion! A very much unsustainable obligation that for the first time since World War II now exceeds the entire size of our U.S. economy. Yes, as year after year untold billions of dollars continue to be spent in our U.S. elections, with varying intentions by those in some manner seeking power and influence throughout the many functions of our government . . . “We the People” (at least “thus far”) are blessed, by way of U.S. Constitution mandate, with the opportunity to crucially influence, by way of our votes, the status of our (and our country’s) safety, security, and otherwise wellbeing! A profound privilege we must never disregard or disrespect, with responsibilities we must never fail to do our best to fulfill. While being ever conscious of the inescapable fact that all elections have “outcomes” . . . that is, “consequences” warranting our due attention to the lessons of history and reality-founded, potentially prophetic cautions, such as: “I place economy among the first and most important virtues, and public debt as the greatest of dangers to be feared . . . To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt . . . We must make our choice between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude . . .” —Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President; “Liberty dies when we choose comfort over courage” —Clarence Thomas, Associate Justice U.S. Supreme Court; and “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” —Abraham Lincoln, U.S. President.

“AN OPEN MESSAGE TO PRESIDENT TRUMP”: (08/05/2026)

Dear President Trump,

A present poll of your base of longstanding supporters . . . as well as of countless others worldwide . . . would likely show that many of us strongly recommend that you: (1.) discontinue public discussion about a “deal” with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and other radical-militant Islamist leadership of Iran; and (2.) turn Israel loose with our as-needed U.S. support (not including U.S. boots on the ground) to “do whatever needs to be done” to totally purge radical-militant Islamist/IRGC control of Iran and elsewhere on Earth. Even if Saudi Arabia and other of Iran’s neighbors fail to step up with their responsible support.

Given the radical-militant Islamic centuries-old aim of nothing less than world domination, at any cost, any price, by any means, and for however long it takes to do so . . . you and right-minded others have long recognized that they and other radical-militant Islamists can never be permitted to have a nuclear weapon. An existential threat that U.S. Presidents and Administrations (as well as other world leaders) prior to you have unfortunately failed to responsibly and effectively confront!

As the IRGC backed Islamic Republic of Iran has continued to chant “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” . . . while carrying out/sponsoring thousands upon thousands of terrorist acts worldwide.

Radical/militant Islam is not just another “religion” worthy of protection under our U.S. Constitution. To the contrary, it is an ancient-rooted evil-ideology, a perversion of Islam that is in total conflict with and cannot co-exist with our U.S. Constitution or the laws of other civilized nations.

Yes, to achieve their ultimate aims, radical/militant Islamists practice a no-rules-apply war against their targeted nations: Including, but not limited to, use of deceptive tactics such as, lying under oath to conceal their true beliefs and intentions; and pretending to “assimilate” in host countries, such as the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, and elsewhere—until choosing to execute planned terrorist acts of death and destruction.

To defeat and eradicate radical/militant Islamists, we must understand the source—the Qur’an (Koran)—from which they derive their perversion of Islam and twisted view of the human race and the world.

In closing, Mr. President, please also know that countless of “We the People” in America, and others worldwide, express our most sincere thanks and appreciation for your many personal sacrifices . . . and for your truly exceptional leadership and the magnificent “Team” you have established on behalf your long past due Saving-America, America-First, and Making-America-Great-Again policies and agendas! . . . as well as for your unrelenting world peace initiatives towards the best interests of all humankind!

The above suggestions entail what countless of us consider to be a long-past-due survival effort on behalf of the U.S., Israel, and other humankind. Founded in historical realities you and many others have for many years of course known and witnessed in so many ways! Yes realities rooted in the fact that the radical/militant Islamist IRGC and its radical-militant so-called supreme leaders cannot be negotiated with! Nor is any legitimate “deal” with them truly doable . . . because their centuries-old aim is nothing less than world domination, at any cost, at any price, by any means, and for however long it takes to do so! Hence, why you and right-minded others have for many years recognized that they and other radical-militant Islamists can never, never, never be permitted to have a nuclear weapon . . . nor be allowed to continue carrying out and sponsoring world-wide terror . . . nor be permitted to hold the world hostage via restricted oil/energy supplies, etc.! Existential threat realities that U.S. Presidents and Administrations (as well as other world leaders) prior to you have unfortunately failed to responsibly and effectively confront!

Yes, following the overthrow of the Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, February 11, 1979, during the Iranian Revolution, the subsequently established IRGC backed Islamic Republic of Iran has continued to chant “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” . . . while carrying out/sponsoring thousands upon thousands of terrorist acts worldwide. Horrors, most of which receive little if any meaningful news coverage or otherwise due attention from the so-called “civilized” among us. Barbaric executions, massacres, kidnappings, enslavements, beheadings, burnings-alive, burials-alive, gaged-drownings, ethnic-cleansings, rapes, mutilations, destruction of ancient artifacts, and other heinous acts at the hand of an unrelenting-evil rooted in radical/militant Islam. Carried out, incited, inspired, and/or otherwise enabled, by radical/militant Islamists . . . again, with a centuries-old aim of world domination!

And, the above plain-spoken reality will not simply “go away” by refusal to acknowledge and call by name the enemy . . . “radical/militant Islam”! Whether in political-correctness concern of “offending” the some 1.6 billion worldwide followers of Islam (many of whom are also victims of radical/militant Islam savagery), or other self-destructive reasoning.

Nor, will radical/militant Islam simply “go away” by irresponsibly discounting the rights, welfare, and justified concerns of the some 5.5 billion followers of our world’s thousands of other religions. Or, by agendas that flood the U.S. and other nations with thousands of immigrants and refugees from terrorist-torn countries, with no means of ensuring that radical/militant Islamists are not embedded!

Neither, will radical/militant Islam be defeated by the continued ignorance, apathy, complacency, denial, greed, and counter-productive fears of “we the people” and our political and religious leaders, regarding the above discussed and following “additional realities”:

Radical/militant Islam is not just another “religion” worthy of protection under our U.S. Constitution. To the contrary, it is an ancient-rooted evil-ideology, a perversion of Islam that is in total conflict with and cannot co-exist with our U.S. Constitution or the laws of other civilized nations.

Our U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America, and the backbone and protector of the liberties, freedoms, and opportunities: Radical/militant Islamists consider Sharia law (Islam religious law) and their interpretation of the Qur’an (Koran) to be the supreme law of the universe. Radical/militant Islam and Sharia law (Islam religious law) cannot co-exist with and our U.S. Constitution, nor the God-given Rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!

As earlier highlighted, the ultimate goal of radical/militant Islam is World domination and the imposition of Sharia law: A domination that aims to exterminate the followers of Judaism, and selectively offer Christians and other faiths the option of converting to radical/militant Islam or be killed. With women and young girls subjected to fates worse than death . . . a “reality” that liberty-blessed women worldwide should take most seriously as they cast their votes for political leaders charged with the responsibility for national security and protection of human rights!

Yes, to achieve their ultimate aims, radical/militant Islamists practice a no-rules-apply war against their targeted nations: Including, but not limited to, use of deceptive tactics such as, lying under oath to conceal their true beliefs and intentions; and pretending to “assimilate” in host countries, such as the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, and elsewhere—until choosing to execute planned terrorist acts of death and destruction.

And the large enclaves of Muslims established (and being established) as “no enter zones” within host countries such as the United States, Great Britain, France; and elsewhere, are NOT symbols of “assimilation”: To the contrary, such are seed beds of opportunity to impose and perpetuate Sharia law; and to otherwise live in disrespect and conflict with the supreme law of their host nation. Furthermore, such areas have also been shown to be the source of recruitment, planning, coordination, and execution, of various horrific terrorist attacks suffered in France, Great Britain, and elsewhere. Attacks with the ultimate aim of take-over and control of their host nation! The destruction of liberty!

To defeat and eradicate radical/militant Islamists, we must understand the source—the Qur’an (Koran)—from which they derive their perversion of Islam and twisted view of the human race and the world: For the United States or others to entertain the thought that the political, social, and religious values of “Western Civilization” can be used to understand the motives and aims of radical/militant Islam, is a self-destructive exercise in absolute futility! This ancient-rooted evil’s use of young children as suicide bombers should—alone—make this unsettling reality most painfully and alarmingly clear!

Yes, Mr. President, many of us strongly and sincerely suggest that you: (1.) discontinue public discussion about a “deal” with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and other radical-militant Islamist leadership of Iran; and (2.) turn Israel loose with our as-needed U.S. support (not including U.S. boots on the ground) to “do whatever needs to be done” to totally purge radical-militant Islamist/IRGC control of Iran and elsewhere on Earth.
